So, yeah, obviously, thanks to pup overdose, I've become a Bon Jovi fan. Well, a very noisy one in my old age, when as a young adult, I'd just go 'YEAH, A BON JOVI SONG, CRANK IT!!!!', and now I'm all "OMG! MUST PAY ATTENTION TO EVERYTHING THE DAMN BAND DOES (or at least Jon at any rate).
So...we have VH1 on...which means commercials, often with rockers on them.
So yeah, whatdoyouknow, there's Jon, and an acoustic version of his new hit (Who Says You Can't Go Home), and he's looking all sexy and doing...Jon things *and wait, there's a shot of him holding a baby---what, did he have a new sprog when I wasn't looking??* And cool text asking about cool things you've done in life.
So I'm all going "OMG! AN ADD FOR A CHARITY, HOW COOL IS THAT???"
And then we get to the last bit.
And it's for cologne.
...
Okay, okay, I get the whole 'let's appeal to their let's do good things!' message.
BUT WHAT THE FUCK DOES HOLDING A BABY HAVE TO DO WITH COLOGNE???? HUH? HUH?????
*takes a deep breath, calms down, soothes disappointed self....*
...Ah well, at least he looked sexy.
...I don't believe I just said that. XD.
ETA: Okay, VH1...it's a good commercial, at least for drool factor. quit playing it every ten minutes, okay? There IS such a thing as Too Much Of A Good Thing

Date: 2007-02-08 02:11 am (UTC)I suppose it's rather like the Naked!Dan Radcliffe pics that stormed my flist last week. Everywhere I turned, there was that poor 17 year old boy's Happy Trail staring at me... Not that I don't fancy a decorative Happy Trail and all, but GEEZ!
So how've you been lately? Me, I've been surly for no good reason. I'd rather hear about your day, frankly...

Date: 2007-02-08 02:28 am (UTC)Doing all right. Work kicked my ass (which is normal on Wednesday, but this was like Wednesday squared), but overall I'm in good shape. Enjoying the ability to stretch out on the couch, watch TV, and not be exiled to the kitchen with two computer desk walls between be and the living room.
Things have been mostly quiet, but theres been a few spectacular explosions. And things are moving about, so...
And starting to work on my own book thing. so, you storm the fantasy world, and I'll smack the horror folks around?
