Progress...sort of

silverthorneWe have a small hole into the kitchen area of the cafeteria now. Not big enough yet to go through, but at least we can peek in.
Not that we can see much. We cna hear a lot, though. Food may not be a possibility after all. Sounds like maybe one of the staff (who has a badge to get in) may have changed while inside the kitchen. We're hearing a lot of groans and ripping sounds. I don't think that's a good sign.
The dock is still clear, but I'm not willing to check out the back door. Pretty sure I heard thumping on all three bay doors as well as the entry door. We may be trapped, which means there may have to be a run for it, and everyone hope to not get bit.
I haven't been able to reach Dad--he was still asleep when I left this morning. I hope he's all right. Got my brains from him, and he's seen lots of zombie flicks, but, you know, this is supposedly real life. I don't know if he'll catch on before hs steps outside.
Then again, he watches CNN and a lot of news, so maybe...I cna hope, anyway.
