This sucks.
So, yeah, I thought the creepy neighbor was just coming home really late and really drunk. I knocked him down, of course, and went for the car since that was closer (and easier to get to and into) than the apartment. Didn't think about calling it in, and after a second or two, collected myself and went to work. Since it was 5am, didn't notice much because there wasn't much to notice.
I notice
now of course. Can't miss the ICU patients that are out of bed, or the ER ones that have already made their way through the waiting area. Some have figured out the doors down there, or else they were smart enough to follow people through them. I don't know, don't care. Engineering set off the fire alarms, so all the emergency doors are down, effectively sealing off the sections unless you have a key...or know how to work the elevators and special entry slap pads on the firedoors. Fortunately, I don't think the zombies figured that one out yet.
I'm getting a headache from the alarm, though.
CS is secure, and we're staying out of sight range of the two glass panes in the one door. We've shut the lights off too, so only the night/emergency ones are on. Hopefully, we can stay hidden. The cafeteria was still locked up, and it's right next door, onlt there's one slight problem--we don't have any of the keys or valid ID cards. So, there's food, but only if we can get to it. I'm wondering if we can dig through the drywall in the men's bathroom. Or I can try ramming the pallet jack through...
We can't stay here forever, of course, but it's s start.
Crap, there they go banging on the door again. Someone must have made the mistake of looking out the door window.
