well, I fucked up somehow...

I need to un-fuck myself...or at least something I did last night

I had been playing with the idea of starting my own LJ rping community...been sort of looking at it, finally created one last night.

Like an idiot, I forgot what LJ I was in and linked it to my HP journal (first ARG!!!!!)

Like an idiot, I also cannot seem to find out how to get into said community so I can do things such as, oh, say, alter the look, get it set up, input info, etc. (Arg Twice!)

And, of course...I can't navigate LJ to save my silly little arse when it comes to finding the right links to help me figure out 1) If I can somehow pass on ownership to the LJ I actually want the thing tied to 2) Get into the right screens to mess with the community settings without messing up the settings on my personal LJ (Some of which I managed to do last night--mess up my HP journal settings a little, that is...ARG! to the third power!)

Anyone got some pointers? A link? A boot to the head?

Help would be appreciated...:D

Of course, considering I just had to edit this journal entry about six times to catch all my typing, sentence structure, and grammar mistakes...maybe keeping me off the community thing is a good idea...~snerk!~

if the ownership to the community is yours, on the top of the lj home page, click "manage", "customize", and then there should be a wee drop down box at the top that says "work as user". choose the name of your community and away you go. that will allow to adjust the look of the community. to adjust the actual settings, it's simply "manage", "communities", and then "settings".

at least that's how it all works with my community. :)
