Someone just asked me what hair color I use because it looks so natural.

I had to point out the grey hairs before they believed me when I told them that was my actual hair color. And then I got a shocked look from them when I told them I was 38 (Because I only have a handful of greys and you have to look for them to see them).

:D

*ahem*

What'd I tell you last night?

Aw, c'mon. I'm not drop-dead ugly, but I'm not drop-dead gorgeous, either. Maybe on the high side of average (after all, I apparently have lots of clones all over the place...), but it's not like guys fall all over themselves when they get a look at me (I've seen them do it for other girls--they don't do the same thing when they see me).

:)

Besides, you still get to be 'face-man'--the camera likes you LOTS better than it likes me, and that is 100% true.

Fine, I'm photogenic. But honestly, you're not ugly. And you steadfastly refuse not to be drop-dead.

And maybe that 'don't lookit me' vibe you've been throwing up for the last 8 years or so is kinda why fearless men don't follow you around like willing servants.

Or you just haven't noticed them.

...I've found it's best not to argue over looks.

...maybe, although when I was throwing up 'come and get me' vibes, I wasn't getting much notice either, so...*shrugs* Ah well.

I've been getting more than the occasional grey hair over the last few years (and I've only recently turned 30). On the whole, though, I'd rather go grey than bald, which, fortunately, looks like it won't be a problem.

Yeah. I think a lot of guys tend to have 'hair issues' once they hit mid-twenties, unless they really do well on the hair-gene lottery. Nice thing though is that most guys still look good, even if they go grey/bald(ing)/frizzled. I know one guy in HS--he had this gorgeous head of black hair in sophmore year. By senior year, it had turned gun-metal grey, and I suspect it was probably white by the time he hit mid-twenties. Still, it was thick and gorgeous, even grey, so...

Dude, one of my friends has got a head full of grey. Men try an holler at her all the time. When you've got game, grey does not take it away.

*hugs*

I actually don't really mind the grey, particularly as it mostly manages to somehow blend into the brownness of the rest of my hair. I'm just glad to not also be going bald, 'cause I like having my hair long and would be annoyed to have long hair that retreats at the front over time.

(In any case, I wouldn't consider myself to have game, anyway; there's a reason why I have a Hutt for my default avatar, and it's not just because of any enjoyment of Star Wars.)

I think that's spite and bad manners on the part of the follicles.

Noted. :/

You are particularly youthful. For trues.

Hehe. Whenever anyone says I don't look 38, I just say it's because of my adolescent attitude keeping me young :)

To be honest? I think it's because I have a really poor grasp of time and time estimation when left to my own devices. How can you be old when you're not even sure what year you are? *g*

Heh! If I'm thinking, my response is usually something to the effect of 'I've always been about ten years behind everyone else in everything.' :)

OH! I meant to tell you! Jon Bon Jovi was in my dream again last night...I was in the audience for some talk show or news program on which he was doing an interview. He had dyed his hair black, and in an effort to separate his acting from his music career, was only going to act under the name "Chris Born" from now on.

LOL!

Man, Jon has been getting around lately. I keep avign dreams where we just kinda hang around, do chores and talk about...boring stuff. And another friend onm this flist (who isn't even really a fan), dreamed about him the other night.

...I guess he meant it when he said he'd sleep when he was dead, because it sure doesn't look like he gets much sleep when he sleeps with all this visiting going on.

...I am having trouble imagining him with black hair though...(Makes note to put a picture of his through photoshop when she gets home to see what that would look like).

Funny thing--I never liked the 'greaser' look on any guy. But yeah, that gives me the idea.

Thass' OK. He can visit me in my dreams any time. I don't care if all we do is laundry.
