Little Victories....

We all have our big victory moments. Graduating from school, getting married, buying a new car, whatever. However, sometimes you need to take a second and celebrate the smaller things in life. Therefore, I present a very simple meme. Simply list ten things that you feel can be categorized as one of Life's Little Victories and give a brief explanation for each. Then post it in your journal for people to see and participate in. As a small point of egotism, please list who you got the meme from so we can see how it grows and progresses.
1) Closing the door of the place where the ex and I lived for that last time. That was actually the hardest part of the whole thing.
2) Every sketch and idea I manage to get down on paper, no matter how crappy. I still feel 'crippled' art-wise, but every piece means another step towards being who I was in that regard once again.
3) Exercising, even for only five minutes, every day. I'm lazy.
4) Finding something to be grateful for each day. For a long time, it was easier to see the things to be sad about.
5) Saying hello to other people--especially with a smile. I used to think no one wanted to really hear from me/talk to me/be around me.
6) Waking up every morning. :) Every day means I get another chance at something great.
7) I have excellent health--which is something, considering all the neglect and abuse my body has been through the past decade.
8) I can honestly take care of myself in all ways--which was something I wasn't sure I could do a year ago.
9) My spirit did not break.
10) Neither did my hope, even though it is a bit tentative.

Mar. 10th, 2008 11:08 pmCramps still hurt worse than my mouth (which really doesn't hurt at all).
I have nice yellow bruising along my jawline today. Heeeee. Skipped the really colorful part and went for the jaundiced look. :P
Hmmmmmn Chocolate.
Twelve Kingdoms rule.
I want to make a shirt. And a skirt.
I lost a pound and a half :)
Interesting theme sketches FTW.
Cramps suck.
Love you all. :)
