Went lightweight on the food again today, but it wasn't all healthy choices either. I need to find a way to make the cabbage soup healthier. Maybe add something like carrots and find a better meat or cut it out altogether.

Ooh, cabbage soup is nummy! I'd suggest cutting out meat and replacing it with some beans of some sort, using calorie-free oils (safflower I think?) while cooking veggies and stuff before adding the rest of the soup contents. Oooor~ you can try some of that fat-free turkey kielbasa stuff. I know it sounds ridiculous but it's actually really tasty in soup, and a good alternative to other more fatty/caloric meats.

And, uh, ALWAYS more vegetables. Veggies have lots of fiber and yummy vitamins that are worth the extra few calories to have (though a bunch of them aren't really over 50 calories anyway and by Weight Watcher's standards, the diet my mom's been on, they're 'free'/point-lesss foods. Eat away!)

I think you did good. I'd keep the meat and dump the pace salsa on account of your NaCl concerns. Keep the proteins (MEAT) because you're lifting so much. That's my two cents, anyhow.

Yeah, the veggie part is a little harder, although I;ve got plenty that need eating, so this week, at least, there will be more leafy things going into the gullet.

I'll check out the turkey stuff and see. The other problem I'm having is salt intake, so I might go for the beanage choice instead.

I actually like the stuff without precooking it first before tossing it in the soup. :)

Also: ACK EYEBALL MOUTH!!!! XD

Can you think of a less fatty/salty meat? Because that's where I'm drawing blanks as to what would make a good sub for the keilbasa, and I'm afraid the turkey sausage might have a sodium problem.

No salsa? *sniff, unhappy face* But but but, it's only 240mg... :(
