Dentist Update

So, the verdict is:

Defintely four teeth to be pulled--three of which are wisdom teeth, so not as big a deal as it could have been if it had been main molars. There might be a fifth one as well depending on whether they can save it or not.

At least four caps.

One definite implant; two if they can't save that fifth tooth.

13,000 worth over two-three years total, after insurance. 15,000 without.

All in all, not as bad as I thought it would be. Still. Ouch. :/

So am I! I really was expecting to lose that entire side. Most of it can be fixed with fillings and caps though, it looks like. Nothing got into the flesh or jaw-bone infection-wise, and the front part of my mouth is apparently doing great. Not too shabby for a bad condition that started over 7 years ago (yes, that long. And I haven't been to the dentist in longer than that).
