Date: 2008-02-23 04:01 pm (UTC)And I do interval running too. I normally run for about fifteen to twenty minutes to start now, then walk, then run, and so on. And slow is good, because when I first tried it I was running too fast -- over 6 MPH -- and about 5.3 to 5.5 MPH is perfect for me.
This is all lawl for me since I've had a number of joint surgeries and have RA... the first time I ran a mile in junior high, I had a brace on each ankle and a brace on each knee. Had Forrest Gump been out back then, someone should've given me a "Run Forrest, ruuuuuuuuun!"
