So I fail at self control in some things...

I said I wouldn't yesterday, but I'm gonna.

Beware, my friends, for the farmer in me has gotten the better of my common sense.



So, here's the bamboo. He still doesn't look well or happy to me, but damn, he has a lot of new leaves (he came home with only 6. And was an unhealthy yellow shade).



Here's the spotted dude, marked in the store as a 'crotoh' or burning bush.



And here's the Ivy/Ficus/Fig Bellus (I think they got the wrong tag on this guy. Ivys are not the same as ficus as far as I know)



Now for the transplanted guys...

Up first is some sort of succulent...what, exactly, I don't know.



And then the little portos in this pic is the transplant. The larger guy I've had for close to 6 years and it used to sit on my desk at work. I call him 'Porthos', actually. I'm not sure what to call the little guy next to him yet.



And this is the unfortunate Victorian palm, which got the worst of the damage from the mystery fungus. I lost almost all of the roots trying to dig her out, and I have a feeling I've killed her--she was always delicate and picky to begin with (like most ladies from that era XD). But there she is in water spiked with fertilizer, so we'll see if that does any good. If not...well, at least I tried. :/



And now for the other old timers...

Here's 'Spike'. Have no idea what he is, but the name fits. He was half this size in June. I'd say he's one happy plant.



And this is little ms Prima Donna--although, like Spike, she isn't very little any more. According to the info I can find, this one is an 'Umbrella ficus', and in theory I should be able to shape her like you'd 'shape' a bonsai. This is the one that gets all picky and leaf-droppy if I mess with her too much, or if she's just plain unhappy with something, though. Obviously, right now though, she's happy. Thank god. :)



And last but not least, the 'babies' of the group. Obviously, like most babies, it's hard to determine how they'll turn outjust yet. *snerk* (I will put up pics of the shoots if I manage to get that far with them).



Any how, there you go. I have now tortured you with plant pics. Don't you feel special? *g*

You're speckledy guy is a Gold Dust Croton.

I'm trying hard to not kill my lucky bamboo, with marginal luck. I can tell you if it gets any direct sunlight the leaves will turn yellow and burn off, so try to avoid that.
