Lapdances: *yawn* (Yes, Quint, we get it--you find sexy girls grinding on guys in some way shape or form a turn on. See: From Dusk Til Dawn and Selma Hayek. Great for the guys in the audience. Boring as hell for most girls.)

Too much talking about...shit I don't care about.

Not enough car. Or Kurt in a good acting part (and I like Kurt).

Sorry, Dave, I have to put this one in the 'fail' pile.

Moar Car Plez!!!!!!!

Tarantino is a big fetishist, yes.

I did warn you about this one.

You did, but I also did say I'd watch it once just to say I did.

And once is all it'll get.

...Now I need to go get Kill Bill and watch that in order to feel better. ;)

Holla, Kill Bill was one of his best.

It is. That one and From Dusk to Dawn are the two I enjoy most. And the second and third movies from the 'Mexico' trilogy. :) Most of the rest I can take or leave (I fell asleep during Pulp Fiction. Twice.)

:)

Love you, too.

Won't change my opinion.

Nice car, though.

I'm just teasing. It's not for everyone, like any other movie. I just enjoyed it so much because i love car chase movies (Bullet, Vanishing Point, Gone in 60 Seconds, and Ronin had a great one), and old muscle cars.

There -was- an extremely slow build-up to the action, I agree. This movie could have been much shorter.

I know you are. *g*

Yeah, I tnink that was my problem right there. Too much talk. And it wasn't even really good character buulding talk--which I know, not a chick flick so it doesn't need to be, but still. If you're going to take up that much time showing us what these chicks did that makes Mr. Psycho think he needs to take them on a little ride, at least make it more interesting. Or take less time on it.

And they did the same thing with the second big batch of chicks at the end, too. In fact, at one point, I wasn't even paying attention, and when I turned back around because there hadn't been any significant noise for a while, I thought maybe the next movie had started up. I actually called up the movie info four or five times during the span they were talking (and before they got into it with Kurt's character), just to make sure it really was the same movie.

Seriously. Needs more cars, and a lot less talk. Because I *love* all those movies you just listed, and I love muscle cars (even though I can't ID half of them. Bad me.)....and considering I enjoy watching crappy 'B' grade movies from the 50's (now there's some cinematic junk food for you), if I'm losing interest in a movie with fast cars and lots of stunts...there's a problem.
