State of the Foot
Mar. 16th, 2008 09:31 pmToday was 'I R Independent Cat' day.
Foot got her cuddles in early and then mostly showed up for food, ten minutes of window gazing, three minutes here and there of head rubs, and then more under the bed sleeping. Her food gulping has definitely slowed way down.
I checked out about chipping cats, and went and looked to see if she had one, but she doesn't seem to. I'll have the vet check/scan her tomorrow just to make sure. Having no indication that someone thinks they've lost her yet, I'm not banking on a 'happy reunion' with her original humans, though.
Foot likes:
Cat food.
Curling up alongside my arm on the sofa and sleeping for hours on end.
Catnip in small doses.
Under the bed.
The bedroom window sill.
Tuna.
Getting her head rubbed.
Having her forepaws and legs gently cupped in a human hand while she sleeps.
Trying to drink out of the human's glass (something Sheia used to do with me and Dad).
Foot does not like:
Crab (I offered, she turned it down without any interest at all).
Loud noises outside the front door.
The porch door when it's open.
Being picked up and/or held closely.
The sound of kids.
When I first stand up (although with reassurance and soft noises, she's adjusting to that).
