Once you have been tagged, you have to write a blog with 10 random things, facts, goals, or habits about yourself. At the end, choose 10 people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. Don’t forget to leave them a comment (you’re it!) and to read your blog for instructions. You can’t tag a person who has tagged you. Since you can’t re-tag me, let me know when you’ve posted your blog so I can read the answers!
1) When I was growing up in NJ, I used to pretend that the roads, and any other patch of black concrete, were riverways. So when I rode my bike, or the bus was taking us to school, or I was walking along the street, I'd pretend I was in this water-world like place. The bus was a big fishing trowler, the bike and mom's car personal boats, etc etc. I even pretended things like the cream of wheat I'd eat for breakfast was fish meal that had been caught the day before.
2) I'll get into moods where I'll put the Playstation games that I like into the machine just to watch the CGI intros. I also have a saved game of Final Fantasy X that I'll pull up just to watch the cut scenes on (You can go into a 'theater' in the game that will play all the cut scenes you've already been through in the game). At some point, I want to see if I have the game hooked up to the DVD/VHS player hooked up right so I can make a copy of all the scenes and be able to play it like a regular movie. Yes, I'm that strange.
3) I have a big ol' freckle snack dab in the middle of my left foot arch.
4) I used to climb the rocks in the north foothills of Tucson...in the middle of the day, in 105-plus degree weather.
5) At some point, I plan to learn how to play guitar. Just because I want to.
6) Goal? To get down to 130-135 pounds and then stay there for the rest of my life. I also plan to try and keep the muscles I've earned through my job as a receiving clerk for as long in my life as I can, even after I retire from said job.
7) Even at my age, I still get moments where I bounce around the house like a manic five-year old. *g*
8) Second goal is to become a professional (and well-paid) writer, so that when my body can no longer handle my very physical job, I have something in place that can keep me financially independant for the rest of my life.
9) There are some days where voluntary euthanasia before becoming incapable of taking care of ones-self makes perfect sense to me.
10) I can, and will, fall asleep in a bath-tub, often for a couple of hours, and will wedge myself with my feet and legs so that I can lay my head back, but won't sink under the water when I do so.
