My account is set up now.

I have not made any characters yet, although I *have* located most of the suggested servers from the other posts.

So, anyway.

I have four characters in mind that I'd like to try (ambitious? Me? Maybe)

So if anyone has a need/want for a buddie of the following, speak up, and I'll create the character in your hub.

Alliance
Human Paladin
Night Elf Druid

Horde
Tauren Shaman
Blood Elf Hunter

First come, first choice. :) (Like you all will fight over a n00b. ;) )

Dave is hugely anti-WoW. He hates it (with good reason, but that's a long story). I, however, have been playing since last December and have a 54 Draenei holy priest on Bronzebeard. lol

Yeah, Ally = Alliance. Sure, I can run you around the start area a bit if you want and help you do some quests, get you started? The toon doesn't need to be female, but they require an established LJ/a vent (voice) chat if you don't have one name to determine you're female IRL, but membership is pretty much open to anyone they're a really cool drama-free bunch of ladies. It's a really awesome guild.

Or... if you'd prefer it I just started a Night Elf alt on Turalyon to play with some work buddies last night. She's only level 5, so we could bop around together on that one. :D All up to you.

If it was over dealing with some idiot people over and over again, or billing, I can understand why.

Either sounds good to me. Let me think (or if you have a preference before I get that far, let me know), and I'll probably make a decision by the end of the day--wet floor and headache notwithstanding.

I want to try a Druid, so I'll make him/her human and I've been told that's a good combination. On Cenarion Circle I will soon have my 22 and 30 lvl characters over there and thus can send us goodies when I'm gaming with them.

My plan is to only play the druid while we're gaming together, so we can lvl together.

Tauren Shaman on Zangamarsh! We have an accomplished Shaman on staff (read: Gale's mun) who can show you the ropes. And my brother is also there, who's the person who taught me everything I know about WoW. Despite his character's name being Tardmuffin, he is wise.

Also, being a tailor, I can hook you up with some bags. Nothing worse than a tiny inventory for a new character.

I will say this, though. The nature of the beast as far as WoW goes is that you really should eventually pick just one character to be your main and focus on leveling, questing and gearing that one. Having your attention split too early on makes for difficulties!

Yeah, I understand the 'concentrate on one' character, and normally that's what I would do...BUT I have awesome friends all over the dern place, and I definitely want to play with them all. So...I may just have to grin and bear it, you know? We'll see how well I deal with it all. ^^

Whichever character you find yourself leaning towards, I would advise you stick to them, at least until lvl 30, then spread around to the alts. No one will take it personal with whatever class/race/faction you choose. :P We all know how it is. Mains are fickle things.
