Where's the post office? I can't get the mail open just anywhere in the world, so I'm assuming I have to find the ingame mailbox?

Willowthorne is right outside the city, under the lamp on the right side when you look at the front gates (or she was when I signed out). I was trying to get the gifts open and assigned at any rate (Haven't done anything else, including talk to first the quest master yet. Was trying to save a little time for Sunday.)

Okay, found the mailbox, did not have money to send thank you's back. Ken, if they were both yours, thank you. if not, to whoever Darenai(sp?) is, much thanks and when I get some gold, I'll pay you for the pack you gave me. ^^;

Also, I returned to Aldressil afterward, and am parked back where I was before when I asked the question.

If you're in Darnassus, run straight through from the gates to the tree shaped like a snarling bear with the three people under it. That's the bank, and off to the right is a mailbox. Just right click on it and it'll show your mail.

It started me at Aladrassil, which is in Darnasses. Where I am now is at the big tree that you face when it starts you there.

There aren't usually mailboxes in starting areas. :P Travel along the road till you reach Dolanaar and there should be a mailbox there.

Dorinai is the first character. She's a Draenei mage and Jacknirons is a dwarven Paladin.

And I did get two emails; One from Dorinai, one from Jack (I think Jack's only had one gold, though. Not that I'm complaining, because I was just happy to get an extra bag!). And I was good and equipped the pack before hoofing it back to startpoint. :)
