Made four icons of my various characters from The Elder Scrolls and WoW. Not very creative, but I thought I'd share. :)
Thorne, from Morrowind. Yes, this is on my PC, and I'd modded the game to death. :)

Thorne; The version for Oblivion, which is on my PS3

Willowthorne, the Nelf hunter I play alongside Dominus' Nelf druid

And Arianthe, my Belf that I'll be soloing.

Give me a minute--I'll see if I can get a good pic off the screen (I can't get my computer to screen capture, so I'm taking pics with my digital camera. LOL.

Date: 2008-09-08 05:41 pm (UTC)One of my most memorable characters in Oblivion was a Breton that I made specifically to join the Dark Brotherhood and to take over before even touching the main storyline. (It turned out to be a bad idea, as you probably can guess.) Having a stealthy character in Oblivion drove me nuts. He was basically a bow assassin who could two-shot anything in the Dark Brotherhood storyline provided that a) he had distance on his side and b) he didn't miss. Which, as you can guess, didn't always work.
Sure enough, when I finish the questline, jarred nerves and all (because seriously, stealthing around Tamriel includes some very scary moments where being seen equals the end of you), I was level 20. Which meant that even in the first Oblivion portal, there were high level Daedra, most of which aren't ranged, most of which could one or two shot my very squishy assassin. Well, I was determined to finish the main questline, and eventually I did. I just learned to save my game and save often, and bring lots and LOTS of potions. I ended up taking up alchemy even at my late level because the shops couldn't keep up with my potion guzzling. Luckily, I had also my kickbacks from being the Dark Brotherhood speaker (I just had to remember to collect my gold every week).
I remember doing the large portal sequence over and over and over and just screaming at my computer each time Martin died. Martin = Leroy Jenkins. Fo real.

I also spend a lot of time in Daedra spots--the dropped weapons, once I get what I want, are nice for padding the pockets with cash. :)

For Morrowind:
Major Skills: Longblade, Security, MArksmans, Mysticism, Alchemy.
Minor: Unarmored, Hand-to-Hand, Alteration, Restoration, Destruction
For Oblivion:
Blade, Alchemy, Alteration, Illusion, Mysticism, Marksman, Security
