No, I didn't manage to actually get a siamese for my belf (yet!), but one of the sunspire ones decided to take a nap on the ramp, so Arianthe had a sit down with the little guy. :)
I know how you can get a kat! It'll require an alliance character and 50 silver. If you tell me what server this is on, I could help out, wouldn't be to hard. Anyways, once you get it, you go to the goblin towns which are neutral. And being neutral, they service (heehee) both Horde and Alliance and they have their own Auction Houses. So I put the kitty up on the Goblin Auction house for cheap and you sit there on the other end just waiting to scoop it up before anyone else can even see it. Just let me know where to go and I can help you out. :3
Arianthe is on Cenarion Circle. :) And right now she is wandering south of Silvermoon, trying to help with the undead and get up to level 12 so that she can do the hunter thing to get her tame beast spell so that she can get her springpaw. XD.
She's also been selling a ton of skins (good healthy colonies of springpaw lynxes and feral dragonhawks alike in the area), so getting 50 silver shouldn't be too hard for her to do within a few hours.
You only need level 10! Not 12! Hopefully that made you go "Yay!" because you already are level 10.
Also, It doesn't matter how much silver YOU have. I'd have to create a character on the other faction cause the alliance can buy cats from alliance friendly NPC's. Horde get things like snakes, roaches, and prairie dogs.
