Okay, I have two iron lockboxes sitting in my bank on Cenarian Circle, thanks to Geekie's kindness of running me through the Scarlet Monestary a few weeks ago (I got the quest to go back again, BTW. LOL).

Here are my questions:

1) Anyone here have a horde side rogue 'big' enough to unlock them?
2) Failing that, I made a rogue this morning with the express intent of turning him into my local locksmith/bank alt (at least Horde-side). How long and how high a level would I need to get him in order to be able to undo the lockboxes?
3) And, failing that, due to time-constraints, the level needed ends up being crazy high, or me going 'fuck that shit, I want the damn things open right now!', what would be a reasonable amount of gold/silver to offer a rogue I don't know to open the boxes for me, and how can I make sure I actually get the items in the boxes without said rogue ninja-ing them away after he gets the boxes open? (I know to ask on trade channel, because I see both rogues and folks needing rogues asking all them time, but never see a price being mentioned)

4) Those polar bears are cute; I got them activated on every single toon, used or not, except for my two made-but-not-used Draenei because I can't seem to find the road out of town. ^^;

Just say in trade chat, "LFG rogue to unlock [Iron Lockbox]x2, will tip." And one will turn up lickity-split to do it, no doubt. And as far as tip goes, just give him 1 gold for each box. Iron boxes aren't a big deal. When you get up to, like, eternium lockboxes, it's customary to tip about 5g instead.

Thank you. :) I didn't want to underpay if I had to do it that way. :)

Also: No Salazaar DK? (If I get that high on your server, I;m half considering making a 'Derek' DK *eg*

Hahahaha, nah, I was looking super forward to making a Tauren DK since I've always wanted to play one, but wasn't big on most of their class options. And I had the name Auxen sitting around, which was also a name I was fond of, SO!

Now I'm trying to figure out what race a Derek would be. Blood elf?

Yeah, probably. Got to have that hair and pretty face and all. *snerk* :D

(I almost rolled him as a pally on your server...got as far as the name and then went 'nah' for some reason).

As a proud owner of a 70 rogue, I'll say this...you're better off spamming trade and seeing if a friendly (!) rogue will help you. Offer a gold or two and they'll be tickled pink. Levelling lockpicking is a pain in the butt (so not looking forward to doing it as I level my rogue to 80) and just not easy to do once you get past 150 lockpicking or so.

Btw, I rolled a DK on CC and had Leon invite her to the guild. So, don't be surprised to see a newcomer on the roster. :D

*nods* Yeah, I think that's what I'll end up doing.

Okay, cool! And that is why I let you guys have full access; I'm confident nothing 'weird' will get in. I'm debating making a DK myself for CC once Ari gets high level enough (almost tempted to make it one of her parents, too.)

BTW, we do have a guild bank. Only one tab and all that's in it is some low-range ammo and about 120 Dalaran 'seals of opening, or whatever they're called, from when I was farming the crater for the black tabby. Wasn't sure if they were any good outside of the crater, but didn't want to destroy them, either, just in case. :)

Seeing that everyone else answered everything, I'll just let you know how to keept hem from ninja-ing your lockbox. What you do is you open the trade box, and instead of giving them the box to work with, you put it down in the "will not be traded" box at the very bottom. What this does is it lets them work with it while it never leaving your inventory. So eventually you'll see green letters appear next to it saying "Pick Lock" and that means that they'll pick it as soon as the trade happens. It's usually good to give them the gold at the same time as they pick it. This same thing happens with enchanting items.

Ah thank you! Would not have known that on my own. :)
