1) How do you feel about people who commit suicide? Such as, do you feel that they are too lazy to deal with life, have depression, do you feel sorry for them, etc.?
I think, first and foremost, that they're lacking a good support structure, and that's part of the reason they give in to it in the first place. Having been suicidal in the past, I can honestly say that the difference between considering it and actually doing it (or at least attempting it) is as simple as not having anyone you feel you can talk to.
I can't say I feel sorry for people with suicidal tendencies, but I do empathize...and I do often find myself thinking 'I wish something could have come up to prevent them, and give them a reason to want to prevent themselves, from killing themselves'.
2) What do you think people say about you behind your back?
I quit worrying about that a few years ago when I realize it was only making me vaguely nuts, especially with my own mental condition that unfortunately does have those wonderful little mental 'tapes' that people with low-self esteem have. When I quit being pre-occupied with that (and I was usually sure it was All Bad Things), it helped with other things like my temper, my attitude, and so forth. And come to find out? Most of the time my assumption was 180 degrees from what people really thought anyway, so...
3) If you could own and operate any major business, what would it be?
Oooohhhhh, I want to run an American-based anime company. You know--anime, but made in America.
4) Are you/would you be embarrassed to talk to your friends or family about sex?
Friends? Not usually. Family...uh...yeah. ^^;
5) In some cultures, young women are married and begin families as soon as they start a menstrual cycle. Do you believe this is right or wrong? Why?
On one hand, it seems really really young to me since I was brought up in a society that has positive FITS if anyone under 17 has sexual relations with anyone else, so I'm already programmed to wince at it.
By the same token, this is the culture the girls grew up--it's expected of them, it's what they're taught to expect, and they are pointed in that direction as soon as they're old enough to understand. They also tend to mature a lot faster than Americans because of their culture, so from that point of view, I have nothing I can rightfully complain about.
I will say though that in a lot of ways, it smacks of 'property'...which doesn't sit well with me.
