1. Have you ever been to Mexico?
Nogales, San Carlos, the main highway leading down there, and the satallite villages around San Carlos. Clam hunting, yays!
2. Do you know anyone who is currently in the military?
My mate was in the Navy in the 80's, half my family has been in the military, I've had two ex's in the military, and a lot of friends have been or are in the military right now.
3. What is the last party you attended?
Some post-cast renfaire party four years back
4. What do you think about President Bush saying that the United States' National Anthem should only be sung in English?
That he's an idiot. But we all knew that anyway.
5. French fries or freedom fries?
French Fries. That's what they've always been called, and I'm sticking to it.

1. How at ease do you feel about discussing financial matters with your friends and family?
Eh, no big. I don't share every little dime, but I don't have troubles with talkingin generalities about financial stuff, like how to get the most out of 401k or stocks and bonds. I share most info with my dad, but then, he;s working hard to help me get into a stable place financially, so he needs the info.
2. How knowledgeable are you about financial matters (i.e., mortgages, retirement, savings, investments)? Are you happy with your level of knowledge?
Up until recently, I let someone else do most of the financial worrying. Dad is teaching me to do my own worrying *g*, and I'm glad to be learning it. Independence is IMPORTANT!
3. Do you have a budget? Do you stick to it?
With what little I have all to myself, yes. The rest ends up in someone else's hands, and I just spend what I'm told to spend out of that. I am proud to say that I can keep 'my' personal finances at a certain cut-off point thus far. ^^
4. Do you have any savings or investments? Are you happy with the amount you have saved?
401k for sure, a few stocks, and some savings. Just starting out, so pretty thin right now. But that's okay ^^
5. If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it? What if it were $100,000?
For ten thou, I would pay off all my debts, start payments on a house, and look into getting back into collage.
For 100 thou, I'd do all that, help out my family, invest some in charity, and take three months off to try and write that block buster horror novel that I just KNOW is gonna make me rich! *g*

1) Do you like your birth-name? Why?
Actually, yeah, I do. I've toyed with changing my name to other things, but I always eventually end up back to the one I was given. It's a good name. *g*
2) If you could change your name to anything else, what would it be?
Well, I've tried Shannon, Rhiannon, and Amber. 'Silverthorne' I think of more in the terms of it being a CB handle--descriptive, but not my name.
3) What names would you consider giving your children?
Would 'Derek' get me shot? *g*
Seriously, for a boy, I've thought of Trevon, Troy, Richard, Thane....I like a lot of t-names.
For Girls...uh...*blanks out*...s'kay if I come back to this one?
4) If you had a band, what would you name it, and why?
Well, I WAS in a band for all of half a highschool year--we called it 'Kingsgrave'. I always thought 'Coyote Moon' would be a cool name...and of course, if I went all eighties on you all, it would, yes and honestly, be called "Blaze of Glory'.
...Whut?
5) Is there a name that you completely hate? Why?
'Annie'. My mom happened to think giving me a nice perm of a certain type when the play was popular on Broadway was cute (we lived in New Jersey--WAAAYYYYYY to close to home to be wise). Didn't help that it frizzed...and that that kind of 'fro does NOT look good on a pale, brunette, freckled WHITE CHICK!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) What's the longest stretch you've ever gone without sleep?
Four days. Let me tell you, driving from Phoenix to Tucson in that condition was...uh...unique.
2) What job did you hold that kept you the most shy on sleep?
When I was working full time as an assitant manager at a convenience store and working twelve hour long gravyard shifts for the hospital switchboard on the weekends and (quiet often) when their weekday graveyard shift operator would call in sick.
3) What's your ideal amount of sleep per night?
8 hours.
4) What do you normally get by on?
4-5
5) Are you a morning/night/afternoon person by nature?
9 am-4 pm and 7 pm-4 am.
