Getting my chest stared at by a joe-average white-boy driver who's never been to my dock before? Annoying.
Getting ignored by the not-local african american driver because I'm a white chick who wants him to put a pallet in a specific place and he just doesn't have the damned time? Pissy.
Having my two 'regular' local african american drivers show up and help me out when one of the pallets over-turned (and getting a hug from one of them), wonderful.
Watching five Italian guys try to figure out the simple pull-chain system for the ramp for five minutes, and then good naturedly teasing each other over it when a 'woman' can pull the chain just right and make it work? Priceless.
And yeah, there's a reason I noted the 'race' of each driver. Because there are trends. Note I also differentiated between the 'white' guy and the 'Italian' guy. Because, yeah, there is a difference in how they're raised, and it shows, especially in odd situations, like a woman working a receiving dock.
Much love to all those polite, good natured guys out there. You make the assholes less of a pain in the ass to deal with.
