This is my gentle suggestion that you fuck off.

Thanks for setting my Zune up so that it would fry its memory after a fatal error and then not reprogram itself when hooked up to the computer, thus rendering it into a useless brick that can't even double as a paper weight.

NO love, and a lot of cussing.

Me.

(Yes, I know, it's Microsoft and I should've known better. Let me cry in peace, 'kay?)

PS to MS--You get half of a grudging point for making the computer software capable of re-downloading the free tracks I've been collecting since June so that I can at least burn them onto a CD before I might possibly have to delete the whole program, depending on what I get to replace the brick.

Still hate you, though.

The Zune did unjam.

It also had to erase the memory. So I guess now I get to redo my whole playlist once I get the stupid thing working again.

So, apparently there's a reason other than 'imminent electronic death' that my Zune froze up this morning.

I actually find it pretty damn funny--especially since my Zune has frozen before, and Microsoft is recommending the same fix I needed to do last time. Here's hoping they're right, eh? *g*

(The worst part was work was hell today, and it would have been nice to be able to wear my headphones. As it was, the Zune jamming when I turned it on was the start of a bunch of unhappy things that happened. :/)

...Do you think Dad will buy me a new player if my Zune fails to reset? :D?

You buy the Fame CD to replace the old, beat up cassette...

...And then tranfer it onto your MP3 player whole cloth.

:)

(And yes, I have Dirty Dancing on there, too.)

Redid my MP3 player tonight, getting a better mix into it (well, 'better' in that Bon Jovi doesn't take up 75% of the track listings now. *g*).

So yes, I culled the Bon Jovi to what I know will make me move (mind you, I still have about 80% of what they've produced on the player), added other rock and roll of various types, threw in a few 'softer' things like KT Tunstall and Loreena McKennit, and called it good when I finally hit the 'upload only one song at a time so you aren't having to delete and retry' thing and ran out of space. Mind you, I don't have my full collection of music on, since my monster is only 700 songs capable (although, yes, I AM eyeballing a few different 9000-song models. I know...I'm sad--I want to take all my music with me everywhere).

Clue? I was bad and uploaded the Ravens CD too. I miss singing with you guys. Hope that's okay, and I'll take it off if not.

Anyhow--YAYS I'VE GOTS TUNES!!!!!!
