Messing around...

One of the things I've decided to do is start a gallery 'log' of how I look as I get better, lose weight, and everything else. I'll leave it open, if you guys want to peek in from time to time. I added the first four pics today.
...What's scary? They're 'before and after' pics, as in 'Anne without and then with make-up'.
And the only make-up I put on was foundation around the eyes for the 'after' shots...
I guess that's a good thing, right?
Anyway, for those interested
Commentary welcome, of course. How can I improve without input, right?

Date: 2007-07-07 03:14 am (UTC)Oh, the bags are still there--they're just not as noticable when they've been make-uped! All those pics are all from today within a 15 minute span.
But I am also using eye creams, so they're no where near as bad as they were when I moved in.
Hey, it's always good to have a partner when you do self-improvement stuff--encouragement, challenge, proddings, etc always help. So that would be a 'yes'. *g*

I will find a scale at work, and get pics of me sans makeup this weekend... must get a new lj for this though, as I think the pics might be too much for some to deal with. *g* I'd be very glad and really honored to join you in your/our self improvement plan!

But yeah. my eyes really aren't that puffy (as the ones with the foundation prove since I look like I have none at all in those), but they have a really, really bad discoloration problem, which, sadly, I'm afraid I might be stuck with. *frowny face*
As for the non-puffy part, I actually use 'Burts Bees' eye cream. It does a really good job of moisturizing and making the eye skin feel very very smooth and soft. also, nicely lightweight without being runny. I also use their lip balm, which works equally well.
The foundation I used was Cover Girl's 'Simply Powder foundation', 515, natural ivory. I applied it to lids, under the eye and on the bridge and corners of the eyes and nose where it's black/yellow in the non-make-up's shots. I didnt use any other product, and didn't apply makeup anywhere else.
