So, I can read the larger text next (although it's still blurry) on things like the computer screen and the TV across the room with just my right eye open. So...I'm guessing I wasn't reacting well to the Systane.
Bad news?
Even with meds in me, I feel like the sinuses in my head are going to explode. Or else I have a migraine. I'm not sure which yet.

So I bought myself a present...
Feb. 23rd, 2008 11:28 amBut this will also be the last purchase of this size I'll be getting for a while. There are a few more I want to get, but they're more recent, she's putting out new color styles for them, and I'll have plenty of time to snag them before they become part of the 'good luck finding this one' camp.
It also should be noted that I'm into dragons, big time. Not the ones that sit in their caves all day gaurding their treaure and then go eat villages at night--but the brave, intelligent, smart ones that are guardians of mankind, the heavens, and/or the gods, depending on your mythology. Pena makes dragons that could easily be put into the latter when you look at them. They're dragons, but you can, thanks to her craftsmanship, see that they are of the intelligent type with more than just an animal soul. I loves them, I do.
And, on the superstitious side, they make good guardians. *g*
Anyhow, some people share pics of kids, family, friends. I'm gonna share my dragons. Because, statues though they may be, I love 'em, they're mine (as much as a dragon can be, natch), and damn, but this woman's works are incredible and deserve to be seen.
( So here there be dragons )
Not because I can drive the chosen vehicle any better than I could on any other game. In fact, my driving would make any good motorist and car lover curl up into a psychotic ball on the couch and maybe watch through their fingers.
But people who love watching crashes, spinouts, and other vehicular mishaps would be vastly entertained.
But here's why I do like it.
1) Hmmnnnn. Muscle cars
2) Nice map
3) BIG city, designed much like the open worlds in games like Oblivion and related games.
4) No penalties if you go spinning off on your own
5) Cool crash CGIs (minus blood and bodies)
6) LOVE the soundtrack
As for things like controls and stuff; considering how crappy I am at this kind of game anyway, it seems fine to me.
Game? PS3's 'Burnout Paradise'. :)
