Well, it's official...
Nov. 8th, 2007 07:16 amI've hit the weight where any amount of empty sugar gets stored rather than voided. I know this because I haven't eaten any worse than last week, I'm not on the monthly, I am exercising, and I've managed to gain a few pounds back anyway.
So...when I go home, the rest of the chocolate goes into a donation bag, along with the remainder of my salsa and chips. And once I'm done with the current round of yogurt, it'll be plain lowfat yogurt with fresh fruit mixed in from now on.
Ah well--knew that might happen. :/

Date: 2007-11-08 02:36 pm (UTC)Giving it away is wasteful? But yeah, I can't deal with milk chocolate anymore. I feel...off after I eat it. I'd heard that the Aztecs (or maybe the mayans) used to mix their cacao with wine. It was bitter, but I'm thinking that red wine and cacao might put together a hella buzz once the bitterness is mediated into something tolerable.
I so love living in a world where women have access to chocolate. :D
So I guess that's part of the lesson right there; no touchy the milky stuff. Iz Bahd 4 U.
That right there? Looks like a personal testimony that I'd like to see more of this-a-way (http://www.cupandspoon.com/index/viewforum.php?f=130&sid=6d89acf88d2a64bd4b8f90a492a5def1).
:?
I missed you last night, btw. I nearly almost called. I went by Chocolate Fashion for my fix. Anne, they *know* me. They shaved chocolate on top of the frothed milk. When I got 4/5's down through the liquid, I hit chocolate slurry.
O.O
Felt so good.
Maybe, you're in a position where the brandy and whiskey would be good for you rather than more toxins. You were sick on food that doesn't at all suit you for a long time. I can't imagine you drinking brandy or whiskey with that bizarro sugar nastiness thing you were suffering.

Date: 2007-11-08 03:56 pm (UTC)I really don't like the taste of it, either. Which made it tons easier to have only small portions.
Heh, okay. I'll write something, maybe two somethings, this weekend. Fair enough?
Missed you, too, although I was a bit out of it, which is why I avoided everything online.
It was a bad and ugly day, I was falling asleep on the couch, and I had to start the game over because I mucked something up. Which meant catching those stupid fish again. Which means I spent four hours in between nodding off trying to catch the last fish and ending up catching nada. :/ Grrrr. I just want my last fish so I can go do something a bit more useful. Like hunting deer. XD.
That sounds like a great drink--also, being known is not bad usually. Regulars often get star treatment if they're cool regulars. :)
...It's possible. Don't want to get into it too much though because that's empty cals I really don't need. Still, I might invest in a small bottle of one or each, or even just a tiny bottle of Drambue and a shot glass for really those cold nights when I'm choking on my own snot (which hopefully will not be often). I know that I don't want it becoming a habit, even if I'm watching how much I drink. It's not necessary in most cases, and I'd like my remaining braincells to stay alive (not to mention I'm not really a drinker anyway) *g*.
Guess I'll take a trip across the street and check out the liqour store sometime this week in any case...

Date: 2007-11-09 02:18 am (UTC)Oh. Well...that can be problematic. I'd wrap it up and put it in the work refrigerator. :D
I really don't like the taste of it, either. Which made it tons easier to have only small portions. Bleah. No matter how much of that I eat, I still don't get enough chocolate.

Sure. It's not that deep. You see how I post in those forums. :D

Hunh? Wait, work and gaming?

Hee.

I love how my parents say Drambuie. That stuff is strong. It knocks a cough on its situpon.

Date: 2007-11-09 03:33 am (UTC)I suppose I could leave it in the mailroom for some random nurse to make off with it.
Yeah. Work was hell and then the supposedly relaxing attempt at getting my fish was more along the lines of vaguely annoying (vaguely because I kept wanting to nap). As for why I want the stupid fish--you get a ring out of it that if you keep it on means you don't have to worry about drowning, no matter how long you stay underwater. Very useful, especially when your character is new and can;t cast a decent 'breathe under water' spell for very long. :)
It is good stuff--the only liquor I really like 'as is'. But yeah, it can hurt you BAD if you drink too much at once.
