I shouldn't have to say this, but...

Although pinching and kissing and all that stuff is considered traditional in the US today? Try not to do it to folks who obviously don't celebrate the holiday, all right? Keep it in good, playful, wanted fun.

I'll verbally tease a few friends here and there if I know they'll be all right with it (and even though I have the freckles and eyes, I take my own teasing in stride if I don't bother to 'follow tradition' on any given year), but I've never liked the 'pinching' part. Most people tend to hurt you whether they're being careful or not.

And it can be really annoying to folks who don't care about the holiday, or might not even know about it, to get bombarded with it, too.
