The former heir to the throne of Quel'Thalas was said to be a lover of animals. He even had a number of pet phoenixes and cats.

:D

Unfortunately, if you mouse over them, it only gives you the option to attack the poor things. :/ Otherwise, I'd be accosting kitties left and right.

I like the ginger ones best. XD

There's a dark kitty vanity pet that looks like Ula (she's your darker cat, right?) But it's a rare drop and I've never managed to get her.

Is Zangarmarsh a PVP server? I forget.

Zangarmarsh is 'Normal', whatever that means (I assume PVE, since I've never seen any servers listed as PVE when I go looking). That server has my Paladin version of Arianthe, which I haven't played yet (I started with my Tauren Anyada instead since I already had the guild invite from Beth and Del).

This version of Arianthe is on Cenarion Circle, though, which is an RP server. I figured I might get less grief from other, rude players on an RP server while I learned how to solo.

I remember reading that at one of the pet FAQs, so I'll go back and find it. I'm half tempted to get more than one, if that's possible, so I can have a 'crazy cat lady' theme going when I'm just running around...with my cats in tow. XD

Also, I finally managed my first death tonight XD. Got caught up between a ton of tree thingies while trying to find some stupid shrine. :P Sometimes, no matter how careful you are, avoidance just isn't going to happen.

Doh! I know exactly where you are talking about, in fact, I rolled up a male blood elf priest on a RP server once and died in that very same spot. I didn't have the character for very long because there didn't seem to be much rp going on.

well, it was getting towards bedtime, so I used it as an excuse to log out for the night once I'd rezzed and hoofed it back to the start point (I had a few trees hot on my heals for a bit too while I did that, but didn't bother to turn around and fight until I'd lost all but one of them. And yes, I made sure to avoid other players while I ran for my life). ^^;

I'll probably try again tonight, although I'm debating 'cheating' by reading the book that came in the battlechest to see where the shrine is actually located--that way I'm just concentrating on avoiding trees, rather than that as well as trying to find the place. It's either that, or I'll go level up a bit and come back with a few more levels on me before I try it again.

It's perfectly okay to use hint books and hint websites. It's WOW - using those things is practically a staple. :)
