Dude finds way too much trouble to get into.

Not mention--he looks like he needs to be sterilized before you get anywhere near his dick. I know girls want to 'know what the big deal' is, but I think I already do--some skills that are marginally better than most guys (but that can be learned by any guy), people who want the 'mystique' of screwing a rock star, and probably his (and his partner of the time) taking a lot of drugs and/or alcohol, which will tend to make anything feel good--at least until you puke, hallucinate, or fall asleep.

And before people think I'm just dumping on Tommy, Kid Rock is pretty dumb as well. Next time, keep walking, Dude. Just keep walking.

(And yes, I agree that Tommy is a kick-ass drummer. But that's about all the use I've got for him. Give me a rocker with brains, pleaz.)

...yeah, but you'd have more sense than her, too. That's the thing.

(Not a fan of her either. :/)

I'm just embarassed, period. The guy is a great drummer, and I'll be the first to say that every time--it's a shame though that he hasn't learned to grow and grow up with his age. You can still be 'fun' but act your age--just ask Jon and the boys.

At this point, Tommy's idea of 'fun' and 'cool' just comes across as 'dumb', you know? He's almost in trailer trash territory, really.

I don't think Tommy ever really "grew up" emotionally, and I doubt he ever will. He's still pretty much 17 years old, which would be the age he was when he quit school to be a rocker full-time.
Jon et al have been responsible adults for years. Hell, even Nikki Sixx has been a responsible adult for years! but Tommy...
*shakes head*

Pretty much. Thing is, he's had opportunity, by example if nothing else, to grow up. Which is why I'm not impressed by him at all, or any celeb, really, that's hit over 35 and still acting 17, 'stress' of the business or no. There's plenty of them who 'got it', even living in adverse conditions, to really have much tolerance for the ones who don't.

I'll listen to his playing all day long, yeah. Really never want to meet him as a person, though, unlike Jon, Richie or other rockers I could mention.

and I slip back into the fantasy world again...

Or David! I want to take David to lunch. I think he and I could really have a conversation, whereas if I was at lunch with Jon all I could do would be drool and stammer.

Heh. No worries. I talk big now, but I have a feeling if I met any of them, all I would get out is a stupid grin or three...if I'm lucky. Better to just toss me in the bleachers and let me listen to them play....*g*

Don't forget I'm still waiting to see your list of who you would tap, Tommy notwithstanding

No worries! Likely this afternoon--it's raining (and thundering), so the chances of me swimming are about nil, which means I'll be inside for most of the afternoon. :)

Do you want a five-list, or a ten-list?

Whichever is more fun for you :)
