Mate and I watched "Dangerous Liaisons' yesterday. I had not seen it in about 10 years, and she never had at all. Funny thing was, I suggested it because she was trying to get into the proper mindset for an Immortal from that period while she wrote.
Me, I just used it as an opportunity to watch a movie I remembered liking very much when I was younger.
Wow.
I had forgotten just how deeply twisted the plot, the ideas and the conversation was. It was such an art back then, the social plottings...
Reminded me very much of what I'd always assumed Slytherin, and especially DE Slytherin would be like...
Heh.
Too bad I don't have the wit or will for that kind of manuevering...

(BTW, does anyone know how to spell 'Labyreene...'...that's phonetical, of course...and I know the word I want, but have no dictionary here at work...heh...)
